After experiencing her own single motherhood journey for almost a decade, Jennifer began ministering to the needs of single mothers in her community and has done so for more than two decades. She founded one of the largest nonprofits in the nation offering single mothers' services, Unstuck Ministries, having served over 1,000,000 single mothers and counting. Maggio also developed Single Mom University®, an online classroom for single mothers. She has hosted hundreds of single mother events, written a number of single mother books, recorded thousands of videos and written many articles for single mothers. Most notable achievements include:

Unstuck Ministries, formerly known as The Life of a Single Mom, long existed to see no single mom walk alone. However, in 2026, after having served over one million single mothers, the ministry expanded to serve all women who found themselves stuck, hoping to contribute to solutions that prevent single motherhood through life skills, counseling, and prayer.
